*Registration is required for each cycle of workshops
*Spaces will be limited
*Hybrid of Virtual (zoom) & In Person Sessions
*Attending most, if not all sessions in a cycle is encouraged
*You can sign up for more than 1 cycle
*Priority will be given to residents of: San Benito, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Santa Clara Counties
*Please note the suggested age ranges each cycle
*Sessions will be facilitated in English & Spanish

FEBRUARY – JUNE 2023 CYCLES
CYCLE 1: ELDERS
Registration Period: Jan. 11-21, 2023
Workshops: Feb 1- March 4, 2023
Thematic Explorations:
“You Are My Other Self – Tu Eres Mi Otro Yo”
These sessions will invite community elders to reflect on their own narrative and the intersectionality of the collective narrative through various art forms: teatro, guided writing prompts, cultural mapping, oral and visual arts. Suggested ages: 60+
CYCLE 2: CHILDREN
Registration Period: Feb. 11-25, 2023
Workshops: Mar 15 – April 8, 2023
Thematic Explorations:
“The Art In Me – El Arte En Mi”
These sessions will aim to open a little wider the window to the imagination and culminating in the creation of one collective theatrical script to come to Iife at ETC’s Family Day this Spring. Sessions will Include: theater basics, individual and collective imagination games, introduction to oral storytelling and all the magic with us. Suggested ages: 6-17
CYCLE 3: STORYTELLERS
Registration Period: April 19 – May 10, 2023
Workshops: May 24 – June 24, 2023
Thematic Explorations:
Open
These sessions will invite community storytellers to participate in teatro- guided writing prompts. Storytellers will bring stories to life with the help of other cycle participants. All ages welcome!
