October/November | El Teatro Campesino Playhouse

ETC’s annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration is a weekend-long cultural festival that commemorates and honors the lives of our departed loved ones through dance, music, offerings and community art. Our events offer a variety of fun, family-oriented Day of the Dead activities that include viewing of Altar Exhibits inside El Teatro Campesino Playhouse, as well as special performances by folkloric dance group, ESPERANZA DEL VALLE, and a procession through the streets of San Juan Bautista!
DUE TO THE 2020 COVID-19 PANDEMIC…
El Teatro Campesino is CANCELLING ALL IN PERSON EVENTS this Fall. We will not be hosting Esperanza Del Valle performances nor holding our Community Event & Procession. However, we will still be offering art making workshops virtually this Fall. Stay tuned for more details.
