Regarding the recent accounts of abuse and harm connected to leadership within the early farmworker movement, we believe and support Dolores Huerta and the survivors. We honor the immense courage and bravery of the women coming forward. We stand with you without judgment. Healing and justice have no expiration date.
As we continue to process, we recognize that for many the revelations are surfacing confusion, pain, and a sense of loss, but we also understand it is our responsibility to engage this fuller truth with honesty, justice, and accountability as we move forward.
As a cultural organization born out of the farmworker movement, we continue to hold deep gratitude for the movement’s indelible impact, its power to inspire, and its mobilization of everyday people to create positive social change. We will not turn away from this history, nor allow it to be diminished or forgotten.
We reaffirm that our art stays grounded in the fight for human dignity, just as it did on the farmworker picket lines of Delano in 1965. We will continue cultivating community spaces that hold our truths, history, culture, and lived experiences so that it may bring healing and empowerment to our communities.
The fight continues.

En relación con los recientes reportes de abuso y daño vinculados al liderazgo dentro del movimiento inicial de trabajadores campesinos, creemos y apoyamos a Dolores Huerta y a las sobrevivientes. Honramos el inmenso coraje y la valentía de las mujeres que se han atrevido a hablar. Estamos con ellas incondicionalmente. La sanación y la justicia no tienen fecha de caducidad.
Mientras seguimos procesando, reconocemos que para muchas personas estas revelaciones están creando confusión, dolor y un sentimiento de pérdida. Pero también sabemos que es nuestra responsabilidad enfrentar esta verdad más completa con honestidad, justicia y rendición de cuentas mientras avanzamos.
Como organización cultural nacida del movimiento de los trabajadores campesinos, seguimos profundamente agradecidos con dicho movimiento por su impacto imborrable, su fuerza para inspirar y su capacidad para movilizar a la gente para lograr cambios sociales. No vamos a ignorar esta historia ni permitir que se minimice o se olvide.
Reafirmamos que nuestro arte sigue basado en la lucha por la dignidad humana, como lo estuvo durante la huelga de los trabajadores campesinos de Delano en 1965. Seguiremos cultivando espacios comunitarios que abracen nuestras verdades, historia, cultura y experiencias para fomentar la sanación y el empoderamiento de nuestras comunidades.
