Art Making Workshops
Two rounds of identical sessions
Round # 1 Saturday & Sunday Oct 17th & 18th (10am – 12:30pm)
Round # 2 Tuesday & Wednesday Oct 20th & 21st (5pm – 7:30pm)

Help us bring our celebration to life!
Add a little more color and community spirit to our Día de los Muertos celebration. Two opportunities to join El Teatro Campesino for hands-on art-making this month as we prepare for our November 2nd celebration.
Workshops will be held at El Teatro Campesino Playhouse 705 Fourth St. in San Juan Bautista.
More details to be shared after registration.
- No art experience necessary
- Guided sessions with lots of room for creativity!
- All materials and supplies will be provided.
- Registration is required
- Open to all ages
- Space will be limited
- You are encouraged to attend two consecutive sessions.
Art Project: Calavera Headpiece
At the center of our workshops is a larger-than-life calavera headpiece that workshop participants will decorate and transform into a spectacular wearable creation for our procession. Other family friendly colorful arts and crafts projects will also be available.
Sessions might include the following activities:
- Cutting Cardboard & Paper
- Use of Hot Glue Gun
- Use of an Exacto Knife
- Simple Paper Mache
- Paint & Coloring
- Hands on arts and crafts
